We are looking for a backend developer to build out and manage our entire web infrastructure. Successful candidates have professional and proven experience in solving technical problems for backend issues to find the best solution for the product, team and client. Additionally, if you are passionate about blockchain technologies or web3, we encourage you to apply.
Our project entails constructing our API and setting up our server infrastructure. This includes all associated areas, such as database and architecture design.
You will be part of a team with high engineering standards and coding practices working on problems that are essential to the goal of our team. You'll enjoy and be greatly challenged by your work.
Responsibilities
- Designing deployment of our database
- Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
- Designing construction of our RESTful API
- Designing implementation of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
- Collaborating with the product manager and frontend developer in order to find the best solution to the technical challenge.
Skills
- Experience mainly in Golang, TypeScript and Node.js
- Database design and management (PostgreSQL, Mongo, BigQuery, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch), including being up on the latest practices and associated versions.
- Infrastructure management and deployment on GCP, AWS, Kubernetes
- Basic fundamentals about blockchain, Ethereum and web3
- Having a strong motivation and eager to learn in blockchain technologies
- Familiarity with a relevant and globally supported framework
- Thorough understanding of user experience and possibly even product strategy
- Experience in implementing testing platforms and unit tests
- Proficiency with Git
- Appreciation of clean and well-documented code
